World Heavyweight Championship Title

Gold laurel against black leather is the whole look here. The ROH World Heavyweight Championship replica in the black and gold laurel design keeps the strap dark so the laurel work carries the plate on its own. Choose your plates in zinc SD, zinc CNC or brass, from 2mm up to 8mm. CNC etching separates each leaf rather than letting the wreath blur into a band. Finish it in standard gold or 24k, with antique available if you want the recesses darker. The hand-tooled strap measures 50 inches and fits a waist up to 46. A finished belt weighs 7 to 8 lbs. Prices run from $130 to $520 and the nameplate is free.

Choose Your Build

Which plate metal to pick. Zinc SD die-casts cleanly at the friendliest price. Zinc CNC machines each plate so every leaf keeps a defined edge. Brass runs denser and carries the most weight on the waist.

Which plate thickness to pick. Order 2mm or 4mm if you plan to wear it. Order 6mm or 8mm for display, since a laurel design gains more from depth than most.

Why leaf detail needs deep etching. A laurel wreath is dozens of small repeated shapes. Shallow stamping merges them into a solid curve at viewing distance, while CNC etching keeps the separation that makes the wreath read as leaves.

Which plating suits black and gold. Standard gold covers evenly at the lower price. The 24k upgrade warms the tone, which is the pairing most buyers want against black leather. Antique darkens the gaps between leaves and makes the wreath stand further forward.

What you can customise. You can change the plate metal, the thickness, the plating and the enamel shades. You can also change strap colour, stitch colour and strap length. Your nameplate is free and we cut logo side plates from artwork you send us.

The Story Behind The Belt

What the title is. This is ROH’s top singles championship. It began life as the ROH Championship in 2002 and became the ROH World Championship as the promotion grew, with Samoa Joe’s reign in the mid-2000s running roughly 22 months and setting the standard for the title.

Who held it first. Low Ki won a four-way sixty-minute Iron Man match against Christopher Daniels, Spanky and Doug Williams at Crowning a Champion in Philadelphia on 27 July 2002. At 22 he remains the youngest holder in the title’s history.

How many designs it has carried. The championship has worn several belts since 2002, which is why we build it in more than one version. If you are after the television-era look instead, the eagle and flags design covers that period.

What was folded into it. The ROH Pure Championship was unified into the world title in 2006 after Bryan Danielson beat Nigel McGuinness in England, leaving ROH with one singles champion until the television title arrived in 2010.

Designed For Fans, Collectors, And Champions

Who buys this design. Buyers who want ROH’s top prize without the busier artwork of other eras choose the laurel version. Collectors use it as the anchor piece and build the tag and secondary titles around it. Promoters pick it when they want a belt that reads as classic rather than modern, and the other titles that most fans want are in our roh belts collection.

Which build suits which buyer. Order 2mm or 4mm zinc if it is going over a shoulder. Order 6mm or 8mm brass with 24k plating for a lit display case, which is where black and gold does its best work.

Care And Display

How to clean between the leaves. Use a dry microfibre cloth on the flat areas and a soft dry brush through the wreath. Repeated fine detail traps more dust than any other kind of plate.

How to look after black leather. Black cowhide fades toward grey in direct sunlight, which is far more visible against gold than a lighter strap would be. Keep it out of windows and away from radiators.

Why polish is the wrong answer. Metal polish strips plating and then dries pale inside the leaf gaps, so the wreath ends up looking dusty rather than clean. Dry cloth only.

What to do if something comes loose. Contact us before attempting a repair. Adhesive stains plating around the seam and will not come off.

Production, Shipping, And Returns

Nothing here sits in a warehouse. Your belt gets made after you confirm the order and not a day before. Count 20 days from that confirmation to the belt arriving at your door. DHL and FedEx carry it the rest of the way and we email the tracking number as soon as it ships. Returns stay open for 30 days.
