ROH Wrestling Championship Title

Restraint is the point of this one. The Ring of Honor Wrestling Championship replica in the silver classic design keeps the plates modest and the strap plain, the way ROH’s earliest title looked before the artwork grew. Choose your plates in zinc SD, zinc CNC or brass, from 2mm up to 8mm. Silver or nickel plating holds the understated tone, though gold is there if you prefer it. CNC etching keeps the lettering crisp on a design with nowhere to hide. The hand-tooled cowhide strap measures 50 inches and fits a waist up to 46. A finished belt weighs 7 to 8 lbs. Prices run from $130 to $520 and the nameplate is free.

Choose Your Build

Which plate metal to pick. Zinc SD die-casts cleanly at the friendliest price. Zinc CNC machines each plate, which matters more here than usual because clean lettering is the whole design. Brass runs denser and adds weight the original never had.

Which plate thickness to pick. Order 2mm or 4mm to stay faithful to a modestly sized plate. Order 6mm or 8mm if you want more presence than the original carried.

Why a plain design is harder to build. Busy artwork hides small flaws. A clean plate with bold lettering shows every soft edge and every uneven fill, so we machine and etch this one more carefully than the ornate designs.

Which plating to pick. Silver or nickel keeps the understated look that defined the early belt. Standard gold and 24k are available if you would rather have warmth, and antique darkens the lettering recesses for an aged feel.

What you can customise. You can change the plate metal, the thickness, the plating and the lettering colour. You can also change strap colour, stitch colour and strap length. Your nameplate is free and we cut logo side plates from artwork you send us.

The Story Behind The Belt

Where ROH’s top title started. ROH established the championship on 22 June 2002, a few months after the company was founded, and ran a four-way sixty-minute Iron Man match to crown a champion. Low Ki beat Christopher Daniels, Spanky and Doug Williams at Crowning a Champion in Philadelphia on 27 July 2002.

What it was called at the start. The title began as the ROH Championship and only became the ROH World Championship later, as the promotion grew beyond its early circuit.

Why the early design was so plain. ROH built its reputation on in-ring work rather than spectacle, and the first belt reflected that with modest plates and no elaborate artwork. Collectors still single it out for exactly that reason.

What came after it. Later designs grew busier, including the eagle and flags version that arrived with the 2010 redesign. Compare them side by side across our ROH belt collection.

Designed For Fans, Collectors, And Champions

Who buys the classic design. Fans who followed ROH in its first years want the belt as it looked then rather than as it looked on television. Collectors use it as the opening piece in a lineage display. Indie promoters who prefer an old-school prize often choose this over the ornate versions.

Which build suits which buyer. Order 2mm or 4mm zinc in silver if you want it close to the original. Order 6mm or 8mm brass if you want the understated look with modern weight behind it.

Care And Display Guide

How to clean silver plating. Dry microfibre cloth only, handling the plates by the edges. Silver and nickel show fingerprints far more readily than gold, and a plain plate has nowhere for marks to hide.

Why polish ruins it fastest. Silver polish is made for solid silver and strips plating in a single pass. On a design this clean, any thinning of the finish is immediately visible.

How to store the leather strap. Hang it at full length or lay it flat, away from sunlight and heat. Folding leaves a permanent crease behind the centre plate.

What to do if something comes loose. Contact us before attempting a repair, since adhesive marks show far more on a plain plate than on a busy one.
