Which plate metal to pick. Zinc SD die-casts cleanly at the friendliest price. Zinc CNC machines each plate so the mane and feather work hold their edges. Brass runs denser and carries the most weight on the shoulder.

Which plate thickness to pick. Order 2mm or 4mm if the belt is going over your shoulder on show nights. Order 6mm or 8mm if it is heading for a case.

Why animal detail needs deep etching. Manes and feathers are built from overlapping layers, and shallow stamping flattens them into one shape. CNC etching cuts deep enough that each layer casts its own shadow.

How to order the second belt later. Buy one now and we keep your exact build on file. When you come back for the partner belt we pull those notes and match the metal, the plating and the strap so the finished pair still reads as a pair.

The Story Behind The Belt

When the tag titles were created. ROH introduced the championship at Unscripted on 21 September 2002, holding a tournament to crown the first champions. The Prophecy, made up of Christopher Daniels and Donovan Morgan, won it.

When it became a world title. The belts were called the ROH Tag Team Championship until 2006, when Austin Aries and Roderick Strong defended them in Japan against Masato Yoshino and Naruki Doi. From that point the titles were recognised as the ROH World Tag Team Championship.

When this design appeared. ROH redesigned the tag titles in 2010 at the same time as the world singles title, which is why the two share their eagle and globe motifs. The championship has carried several designs since 2002.

Who holds the record. The Briscoe Brothers hold the most reigns at thirteen, the last of them won from FTR in December 2022. Our Jay Briscoe tribute build marks that run.

Care And Display Guide

How to clean layered detail. Use a dry microfibre cloth on the flat areas and a soft dry brush through the mane and feathers. Overlapping detail traps dust deeper than a flat plate does.

How to keep a pair matched. If you plan to own both belts, store them in the same room from the day the first arrives. Different light and heat will age the straps apart.

How to store the leather. Hang each belt at full length or lay it flat, away from radiators and sunlight. Folding leaves a permanent crease behind the centre plate.

What to do if something comes loose. Contact us before trying a repair, since glue and solvents damage plating and leather faster than the original fault does.
