ROH Ornate Crown World Championship Title

A crown carries this plate, and the detail around it is dense enough to reward a closer look. The ROH World Championship replica in the ornate crown design is built to order in zinc SD, zinc CNC or brass, with plates from 2mm up to 8mm. CNC etching cuts the scrollwork deep so it holds shape instead of filling in. Finish it in standard gold or 24k, with antique available to darken the recesses and push the crown forward. The hand-tooled cowhide strap measures 50 inches and fits a waist up to 46. A finished belt weighs 7 to 8 lbs. Prices run from $130 to $520 and the nameplate is free.

Choose Your Build

Which plate metal to pick. Zinc SD die-casts the detail cleanly at the friendliest price. Zinc CNC machines each plate, which suits scrollwork because the tool holds a tighter radius than a mould. Brass runs denser and carries the most weight.

Which plate thickness to pick. Order 6mm or 8mm if this is going on a wall, since ornate work gains the most from depth. Order 2mm or 4mm only if you plan to wear it regularly.

Why ornate plates need the deepest etching. Fine scrollwork is the first thing to disappear on a shallow plate. The lines sit close together, so if the etch is not deep enough they merge into a textured blur at arm’s length.

Which plating suits an ornate plate. Standard gold covers evenly at the lower price. The 24k upgrade warms the tone across the crown. Antique is the one worth considering here, because it settles into the scrollwork and makes the pattern visible from further away.

What you can customise. You can change the plate metal, the thickness, the plating and the enamel shades. You can also change strap colour, stitch colour and strap length. Your nameplate is free and we cut logo side plates from artwork you send us.

The Story Behind The Belt

What this title is. The ROH World Championship is Ring of Honor’s top singles prize. ROH established it on 22 June 2002 and crowned Low Ki as the first champion on 27 July that year, after a four-way sixty-minute Iron Man match in Philadelphia.

How the designs have changed. The championship has carried several belt designs across its history, from the plain early version through the 2010 television-era redesign and on to later looks. We build more than one, so the design you pick is the era you want.

Which other designs we make. The silver classic design covers the earliest period and the eagle and flags design covers the 2010 redesign. All of them sit together in our ROH collection.

What the title absorbed. ROH unified the Pure Championship into the world title in 2006, after Bryan Danielson beat Nigel McGuinness in England and announced the Pure title retired.

Designed For Fans, Collectors, And Champions

Who buys the ornate design. Buyers who want the most decorative version of ROH’s top title choose this one, usually for display rather than wear. Collectors who already own a plainer design add it for contrast. Promoters pick it when they want a prize that looks expensive from the back row.

Which build suits which buyer. Order 6mm or 8mm brass with antique or 24k plating for a case, which is where scrollwork earns its money. Order 2mm or 4mm zinc only if the belt will be carried.

Care And Display Guide

How to clean ornate scrollwork. Use a soft dry brush rather than a cloth as your main tool here. A cloth skates over the top of fine detail and pushes dust deeper into the pattern instead of lifting it.

Why liquids are a particular risk. Cleaners wick into tight scrollwork and dry pale inside the grooves, which leaves a chalky film exactly where you cannot reach. Keep polish, sprays and alcohol wipes away entirely.

How to light an ornate plate. Angle your display light across the belt rather than straight at it. Direct light flattens scrollwork, while a raking angle throws the shadows that make the pattern readable.

What to do if something comes loose. Contact us before attempting a repair. Adhesive spreads into scrollwork and cannot be cleaned out once it sets.
