IWGP Tag Team Wrestling Championship Belt
This replica rebuilds the IWGP Tag Team Championship, NJPW’s top heavyweight tag team title, and it ships as a matched two-belt set. Both belts are cast, plated, and stitched in the same run, so the gold tone and strap colour match across the pair. Plates come in zinc SD, zinc CNC, or brass, from 2mm to 8mm thick. Each genuine cowhide strap runs 50 inches and fits waists to 46 inches. Fully assembled, each belt weighs 7 to 8 lbs. Our professional craftsmen build every set to order, with a free nameplate.

Choose Your Build
Plate metal. Zinc SD die-casts the detail cleanly at the friendliest price. Zinc CNC machines each plate, so edges stay crisper. Brass runs denser and hands you the most weight on the shoulder.
Plate thickness. A 2mm or 4mm build keeps both belts light enough to wear through a full night. A 6mm or 8mm build adds depth for a display case.
Engraving. CNC etching cuts deeper than stamping, so the IWGP lettering holds its edges on both belts.
Matching the pair. We build the two belts side by side, never one after the other. That single run keeps the plate tone, the strap shade, and the weight consistent between them.
Customization. Change the metal, thickness, plating, enamel colours, strap colour, or length. Your nameplates are free, so put a different ring name on each belt.
The Story Behind The Belt
NJPW ran an earlier Asia tag title before this championship existed. Then introduced the IWGP Tag Team Championship on December 12, 1985. Kengo Kimura and Tatsumi Fujinami became the first champions that night, beating Antonio Inoki and Seiji Sakaguchi in the tournament final. NJPW files it as the heavyweight tag class, which puts it alongside the junior tag championship rather than above it. Three belt designs have represented it since 1985, so tell us which version you want and we build to that design.
Designed For NJPW Fans And Real Collectors
This title is especially for the NJPW fans and real collectors, who want something real and tv accurate design. Collectors usually buy the heavyweight singles belt first and build the tag titles around it. That’s why, a New Japan wall usually needs singles gold too, all of which is in the IWGP belt collection. Trios rather than pairs should look at the six-man set instead.
