This Old IWGP heavyweight replica championship belt rebuilds the classic IWGP Heavyweight Championship, the title NJPW has run at the top of its card since 1987. IWGP stands for International Wrestling Grand Prix, the governing body behind the Japanese wrestling promotion, and Antonio Inoki held it first. The wide centre plate carries the IWGP lettering, with the lion and globe motif worked behind it. Matching side plates run down a genuine cowhide strap. We manufacture in-house and build every belt to order.

Plate metal. Zinc SD die-casts detail cleanly at the friendliest price. Zinc CNC machines each plate, so edges stay crisper. Solid brass runs denser and feels heaviest on the waist.

Plate thickness. A 2mm or 4mm build stays lighter for wearing. A 6mm or 8mm build adds depth for display.

Engraving. CNC etching cuts deeper than stamping, so the IWGP lettering and the lion keep sharp edges.

Plating. Standard gold covers evenly at lower cost. A 24k gold upgrade adds a richer, warmer tone. Nickel, silver, and antique are also available.

Customization. Change the metal, thickness, plating, enamel colours, strap colour, or length. Your nameplate is free, and we cut logo side plates on request.

Each belt ships in a padded sleeve inside a rigid box. Return standard builds within 30 days. The lineage runs from the original Inoki design, through the Hashimoto belt, past the short-lived third version, and into the V4 that followed in 2008.
