Choose Your Build
Plate metal. Zinc SD die-casts the detail cleanly at the friendliest price. Zinc CNC machines each plate, so edges stay crisper. Brass runs denser and carries the most weight on the shoulder.
Plate thickness. Junior division fans often pick 2mm or 4mm, since a lighter belt sits better when you actually wear it. A 6mm or 8mm build adds depth for a display case.
Engraving. CNC etching cuts deeper than stamping, so the lettering keeps sharp edges under display lighting.
Plating. Standard gold covers evenly at lower cost. The 24k gold upgrade warms the tone and lifts the relief. Nickel, silver, and antique finishes are also available.
Customization. Change the metal, thickness, plating, enamel colours, strap colour, or length. Your nameplate is free, and we cut logo side plates from your artwork.
The Story Behind Junior Heavyweight Belt
NJPW introduced this title on February 6, 1986, when Shiro Koshinaka beat The Cobra in the tournament final at New Year Dash to become the first champion. Only wrestlers under 100 kg can hold it, which is what separates the junior division from the heavyweight class. The same weight limit governs the junior tag championship, which most collectors buy next. Jushin Thunder Liger owns the record with eleven reigns, including a 628-day run, so most collectors come to this belt through him.
Designed For Fans, Collectors, And Champions
Buyers come to this one from every direction. Some want the flagship IWGP look without hunting a specific version. Others are building a display of New Japan titles and need the heavyweight centrepiece. Wrestlers and gym owners order it as a working prize for their own matches. Collectors finishing the division often move on to the rest of the IWGP replica belt collection. Fans simply hang it where they watch. Tell us how you plan to use it and we will steer you toward the right metal and thickness.
Care And Display Guide
Dust the plates with a dry microfibre cloth and keep liquids away from the plating. Leather ages best in stable air, so avoid damp basements and sunny windows alike. Hang the belt full length or lay it flat, never folded, since the leather holds a crease permanently. Brass darkens gradually with handling, while zinc holds its tone longer. Either way, a gentle buff restores the finish without taking the plating with it.
