Taped-Up Design Hardcore Championship Title

Duct tape across the plate is the whole point of this one. The WWE Hardcore Championship replica in the taped-up design reproduces a belt that was meant to look broken rather than polished, which makes it unlike anything else on a collector’s wall. We build the plates in brass, zinc SD or zinc CNC. Brass comes in 2mm and 4mm, zinc SD and zinc CNC in 4mm and 6mm. Antique plating suits the battered look better than bright gold. The hand-tooled cowhide strap measures 50 inches and fits a waist up to 46. A finished belt weighs 7 to 8 lbs. Prices run from $130 to $520 and the nameplate is free.

Pricing And Variations

Pick your plate material and thickness, then decide on the 24K gold plating upgrade. The price moves with those three choices and nothing else.

Plate material Plate thickness Standard finish With 24K gold plating
Brass 2mm $130 $180
Brass 4mm $220 $270
Zinc SD 4mm $260 $310
Zinc SD 6mm $340 $380
Zinc CNC 4mm $380 $430
Zinc CNC 6mm $470 $520

How the material changes the price. Brass is the entry point and starts at $130. Zinc SD sits in the middle. Zinc CNC costs the most because every plate is machined individually rather than cast from a mould.

Which thicknesses each material offers. Brass comes in 2mm and 4mm. Zinc SD and zinc CNC both come in 4mm and 6mm. Not every thickness is available in every material, so the table above is the full list.

What the 24K upgrade costs. The 24K gold plating edition adds $50 to a build. Pick your row, then add the upgrade or leave it off.

Choose Your Build

Which plate material to pick. Brass is the entry point and the most affordable, which suits a belt whose appeal is attitude rather than polish. Zinc SD sits in the middle. Zinc CNC machines each plate and costs the most.

Which plate thickness to pick. Brass comes in 2mm and 4mm. Zinc SD and zinc CNC come in 4mm and 6mm. Either works here, since this design is rarely bought for its depth.

How much tape you want. Tell us how heavily taped you want it. Some buyers want a light wrap that still shows most of the plate, others want the belt looking properly destroyed. We follow your reference rather than guessing.

Which plating suits a damaged look. Antique is the natural choice, since a worn finish matches a belt that is supposed to have been through something. Standard gold works if you want the contrast between clean metal and rough tape. The 24K edition is available but fights the concept.

What you can customise. You can change the material, the thickness, the plating, the tape treatment, the strap colour and the stitch colour. Send a reference image and we share a mockup first.

The Story Behind The Belt

Why does the belt look broken? The Hardcore Championship was presented as a battered title held together with tape rather than a polished trophy. The damage was the gimmick, and it is the reason this design is instantly recognisable.

What made the title different? It ran under a rule that let it be defended anywhere and at any time, which produced title changes in car parks, backstage corridors and anywhere else a camera happened to be. No other WWE championship worked that way.

When it ended. WWE retired the Hardcore Championship in 2002 and folded it into the Intercontinental Championship, which closed the design for good.

Why collectors want it now. It is a closed design from a specific era, and it is the only WWE title that looks deliberately ruined. Those two things together are what put it on want lists.

Designed For Fans, Collectors, And Champions

Who buys the Hardcore belt. Attitude Era fans buy it for the era rather than the lineage. Collectors want it because it breaks up a wall of clean gold. Backyard and indie promotions use it as a prize for no-rules matches, which is the one WWE title where that actually fits the concept.

Which build suits which buyer. Order brass in 2mm or 4mm with antique plating for the most faithful look at the lowest price. Order zinc CNC in 6mm if you want the damaged aesthetic on a better-built plate.

Care And Display

How to clean around tape. Wipe the exposed metal with a dry microfibre cloth and leave the taped sections alone. Rubbing tape edges lifts them, and once a corner starts peeling it keeps going.

How to look after antique plating. Buff only the raised surfaces. The darker tone sits in the recesses on purpose, so scrubbing them removes the effect you ordered.

How to store it. Hang the belt at full length or lay it flat, away from heat. Warm rooms soften adhesive, which is the one storage risk specific to this design.

What to do if the tape lifts. Contact us rather than re-taping it yourself. Mismatched tape is immediately visible against the original wrap and is the quickest way to spoil the look.

Production, Shipping, And Returns

This is a made to order replica, so manufacturing starts when your order and your tape specification are confirmed. From that point you are looking at 20 days until it reaches your doorstep. DHL and FedEx handle delivery and your tracking number comes by email. You have 30 days to return a standard build.

This is a fan-made replica and is not an official WWE product.
