2019 Intercontinental Championship Title
The 2019 Intercontinental redesign broke sharply from what came before it, pairing a large gold centre plate with a cowhide black leather strap. Our replica of that version is built to order in brass, zinc SD or zinc CNC. Brass comes in 2mm and 4mm, zinc SD and zinc CNC in 4mm and 6mm. CNC etching keeps the clean lines of a modern plate sharp, since there is little decoration to hide a soft edge. The 24K gold plating edition is available on any build. The hand-tooled black strap measures 50 inches and fits a waist up to 46. A finished belt weighs 7 to 8 lbs. Prices run from $130 to $520 and the nameplate is free.

Pricing And Variations
Pick your plate material and thickness, then decide on the 24K gold plating upgrade. The price moves with those three choices and nothing else.
| Plate material | Plate thickness | Standard finish | With 24K gold plating |
| Brass | 2mm | $130 | $180 |
| Brass | 4mm | $220 | $270 |
| Zinc SD | 4mm | $260 | $310 |
| Zinc SD | 6mm | $340 | $380 |
| Zinc CNC | 4mm | $380 | $430 |
| Zinc CNC | 6mm | $470 | $520 |
How the material changes the price. Brass is the entry point and starts at $130. Zinc SD sits in the middle. Zinc CNC costs the most because every plate is machined individually rather than cast from a mould.
Which thicknesses each material offers. Brass comes in 2mm and 4mm. Zinc SD and zinc CNC both come in 4mm and 6mm. Not every thickness is available in every material, so the table above is the full list.
What the 24K upgrade costs. The 24K gold plating edition adds $50 to a build. Pick your row, then add the upgrade or leave it off.
Choose Your Build
Which plate material to pick. Brass is the entry point and the most affordable. Zinc SD is die-cast and sits in the middle. Zinc CNC machines each plate individually and costs the most, which suits this design because a large clean plate shows every imperfection.
Which plate thickness to pick. Brass comes in 2mm and 4mm. Zinc SD and zinc CNC come in 4mm and 6mm. The modern plate is physically bigger than the classic one, so 6mm gives it the depth the design expects.
Why does the strap decide this build? A black strap is where a cheap replica gives itself away immediately. Ours is genuine cowhide, hand-tooled and stitched rather than glued, because on this design the leather is half of what you see.
Whether to take the 24K edition. The centre plate on this version is large and almost entirely gold, so a warmer tone changes the whole belt rather than one detail. The upgrade adds $50.
What you can customise. You can change the material, the thickness, the plating and the enamel shades, plus stitch colour and strap length. Your nameplate is free and we cut custom side plates from artwork you send us.
The Story Behind The Belt
When this design arrived. WWE unveiled the redesign in late 2019 and presented it on screen to the reigning champion, Shinsuke Nakamura. It replaced a look that had been in service for many years. The earlier look and the rest of the mid-card titles are in the WWE belts range.
What changed. The new version moved to a black leather strap and a notably larger gold centre plate, which is why it reads as a different belt rather than a refresh of the old one.
How old the title itself is. The championship dates to 1 September 1979, when the WWF unified the North American Heavyweight Championship with a South American title in storyline and recognised Pat Patterson as the first champion.
Which version to choose. Buyers split along era lines on this title. If you grew up with the earlier look, the classic design is the one you remember. This version suits fans of the modern product.
Designed For Fans, Collectors, And Champions
Who buys the 2019 design. Fans who started watching in the last decade buy this rather than the classic plate. Collectors who own an older Intercontinental add it to show both ends of the title’s history. Display buyers like how much larger the centre plate is.
Which build suits which buyer. Order zinc CNC in 6mm with the 24K edition for a display case, since a large plate and a black strap both reward the better build. Order brass in 2mm or 4mm if you want the design at the entry price.
Care And Display
How to keep leather clean. Keep the strap away from denim and dyed fabrics, which transfer colour onto pale leather and rarely come out. Handle the belt with clean dry hands and wipe it down after handling.
How to clean a large plate. Use a dry microfibre cloth in straight passes rather than circles, since circular rubbing leaves swirl marks across a big flat gold surface.
Production, Shipping, And Returns
This is a made to order replica, so manufacturing starts when your order is confirmed. From that point you are looking at 20 days until it reaches your doorstep. DHL and FedEx handle delivery and your tracking number comes by email once the belt is on its way. You have 30 days to return it.
This is a fan-made replica and is not an official WWE product.
