World Tag Team Championship Title

The World Tag Team Championship replica belt is sold as a single belt, so a team can order two or a collector can take one. We build it in brass, zinc SD or zinc CNC on a hand-tooled cowhide strap. Brass comes in 2mm and 4mm, zinc SD and zinc CNC in 4mm and 6mm. CNC etching cuts the plate detail deep enough to hold its shape under lighting. The 24K gold plating edition is available on any build. The strap measures 50 inches and fits a waist up to 46. A finished belt weighs 7 to 8 lbs. Prices run from $130 to $520 and the nameplate is free.

Pricing And Variations

Pick your plate material and thickness, then decide on the 24K gold plating upgrade. The price moves with those three choices and nothing else.

Plate material Plate thickness Standard finish With 24K gold plating
Brass 2mm $130 $180
Brass 4mm $220 $270
Zinc SD 4mm $260 $310
Zinc SD 6mm $340 $380
Zinc CNC 4mm $380 $430
Zinc CNC 6mm $470 $520

How the material changes the price. Brass is the entry point and starts at $130. Zinc SD sits in the middle. Zinc CNC costs the most because every plate is machined individually rather than cast from a mould.

Which thicknesses each material offers. Brass comes in 2mm and 4mm. Zinc SD and zinc CNC both come in 4mm and 6mm. Not every thickness is available in every material, so the table above is the full list.

What the 24K upgrade costs. The 24K gold plating edition adds $50 to a build. Pick your row, then add the upgrade or leave it off.

Choose Your Build

Which plate material to pick. Brass is the entry point at the lowest price, which matters when you are buying two. Zinc SD is die-cast and sits in the middle. Zinc CNC machines each plate and costs the most.

Which plate thickness to pick. Brass comes in 2mm and 4mm. Zinc SD and zinc CNC come in 4mm and 6mm. Tag belts get carried over shoulders more than most, so the thinner options suit anyone wrestling in them.

How to order the second belt later. Buy one now and we keep your exact build on file. When you come back for the partner belt we pull those notes and match the material, the plating and the strap, so the pair still reads as a pair.

Whether to take the 24K edition. The 24K upgrade adds $50 per belt. If you are buying two, decide once and apply it to both, because a matched pair with mismatched plating is the one thing you cannot fix afterwards.

What you can customise. You can change the material, the thickness, the plating and the enamel shades, plus strap colour, stitch colour and strap length. Each belt carries its own free nameplate.

The Story Behind The Belt

When the title started. The WWWF established its own world tag team championship in 1971. It was the company’s third tag team championship overall and the original world tag title in what is now WWE.

How the name changed. It became the WWF Tag Team Championship in 1979 when the promotion was renamed, then the WWF World Tag Team Championship in 1983. It ran under the World Tag Team Championship name from 2002 until the end.

Which design ran longest. The design used from 1985 to 2002 was in service longer than any other, which is why it is the version most buyers picture when they ask for these belts.

When it was retired. WWE unified the title with the WWE Tag Team Championship on 16 August 2010, closing a lineage that had run for thirty-nine years.

Designed For Fans, Collectors, And Champions

Who buys this belt. Tag teams in indie promotions take one each and defend them for real. Collectors want it because it represents a retired lineage rather than a current one, which is what makes a design finite. Buyers often order one belt now and the partner later. Singles gold to hang beside it is listed in our WWE belts collection.

Which build suits which buyer. Order brass in 2mm or 4mm if the belts will be worn and you are buying two. Order zinc CNC in 6mm with the 24K edition if a single belt is going on a wall.

Care And Display

How to clean the plates. Dry microfibre cloth only. Metal polish strips plating permanently and cannot be undone once the finish lifts.

How to keep a pair matched. If you intend to own both belts, keep them in the same room from the day the first arrives. Heat and light age leather at different rates and the two will drift apart in colour.

How to store the leather. Hang each belt at full length or lay it flat, away from radiators and sunlight. Folding leaves a permanent crease behind the centre plate.

What to do if something comes loose. Contact us before trying a repair, since adhesive stains plating around the seam permanently.

Production, Shipping, And Returns

This is a made to order replica, so manufacturing starts when your order is confirmed. From that point you are looking at 20 days until it reaches your doorstep. DHL and FedEx handle delivery and your tracking number comes by email once the belt is on its way. You have 30 days to return it.
